CrossFit Black Storm – CrossFit Basics

For those in their first month of CrossFit at Black Storm.

A): Thruster (w/Dumbells. 15 minutes to practice in sets of 6)

Recording only the best quality set of 6 reps. Focus on reaching full depth on squat and maintaining an upright torso as you drive the DB’s overhead.

B): Metcon (Time)

4 rounds for time of:

400m Run

30 russian kettlebell swings

(15:00 time cap)
If you’ve done the russian KB swing before ask the coach to show you the American (overhead) Swing. Use a weight that you can control and show good form but is challenging for several reps.
